Just playing around

Usually my cards are based around challenges but yesterday I just sat down and played with my stamps and created whatever I felt inspired to make :) I also wanted to play with my new Derwent pencils which I scored at half price last week so now the very proud owner of 120 beautiful pencils. I need more practice but will get there I hope :). This first card I made with some Reverse Confetti goodies.

Then yesterday as I was playing a lovely set arrived in the mail.......Penny Blacks Cake and Wishes set........So full of cuteness :). Thanks for stopping by!

I have been making a few gifts of late and really enjoyed making a gift tag with this weeks sketch instead of a card. I have put some soy wax t lights in the bag scented with one of my very favorite fragrances Black Raspberry and Vanilla :)

Inky Paws Challenge #17 Use a heart shape

This is my very first stamp set from Newtons Nook and I am totally in love with Newton he is just super cute and such fun to colour <3 I hope your not all tired of Christmas cards as this is a Christmas set  and now I am on a start for next Christmas. I won this set via commenting on the blog hop and was delighted, but it gets better I have won a second set that is on its way to me!!! How generous is Newtons Nook to have these giveaways. I have a list and will be purchasing more of these stamps next month as they are just to delish to pass up <3

Mojo Monday 381

This is a card I made for Mojo Monday, I haven't made a card in what seems a while but it is probably less than a week :) I have been busy soaping to stock my Etsy store and fill a few private orders and that has left me with very little cardmaking time. I think I may even sneak another in before the days close!. Here is the sketch for this week

Here is my card again using some papers from Kaiser Craft. I love that I have an outlet store only 20 minutes from home. This Pad is called 'The Lilac Avenue Collection' and normally Purple is not a colour I reach out for but this collection of papers is delicious.

Reverse Confetti SFYTT and Second NBUS

This card I am entering into two challenges......Reverse Confetti SFYTT and Darnells NBUS as this is a set I have had sitting around with my eye on for some time now. I plan to put this card away to give to Lucas my son when he passes his drivers licence.

NBUS Challenge 3

Yay NBUS 3 is here and boy oh boy did I have a good chuckle when I spotted Darnell's card 

In my card today I have NBUS old and NBUS new :) I recently had a little splurge of 30.00 at Kaisercraft and it just shows that it dosen't always have to be big and expensive. I have now make two cards and have cardstock embellishments and two paper pads still to be used.

My new NBUS is the beautiful paper pad only just released for Valentines and I cannot wait to play with it more. I shall link it below. Now my old NBUS is the gorgeous little Owl also from Kaisercraft and it cost me a whole three dollars!!. I thought it was perfect to team up with the new papers with that little heart :)
