With Sympathy

This is my first ever Sympathy card! I have been asked by my workplace to take a few sympathy cards in as we give them to families of clients that pass in our care. I adore this stamp from Kaiser Craft sorry I don't have the name, it was on clearance and I am so glad I popped it into my basket.

MFTWSC 191

I just recieved a box of goodies from MFT and instantly fell in love with the beautiful Sour Apple Cardstock and Ink <3 I decided to play along with this weeks sketch using that gorgeous colour. Here is the sketch for this week

The papers I have used on my card are from Kaiser Craft a pad called Save the Date which sadly has just recently retired. I am loving the new Spotlight Sentiments and think they will be seeing a lot of ink :). The cupcake is from the most gorgeous Birdie Brown set called Sweet Birthday Wishes which secretly I think is my most favorite to date. I have used glossy accents on the icing but I dont think you can really pick it up in the photos. Well thanks for stopping by I hope your day is full of crafty goodness.

Cutting Edge Blog Hop

I have stamps and dies sitting here from Reverse Confetti that I had not yet opened and when I saw the hop I could think of no better excuse to open them and get creating. I used Blueprints 15 to cut my main piece of DP oh how I love the faux stitched look :) and then along with the New stamp set Fresh n Fruity I used the Fresh n Fruity dies and the new Tag me too confetti die. Oh and what card would be complete without some gorgeous Pretty Pink Posh Sequins :) Thanks for stopping by today I am now off to visit some of the participating blogs :)..........Happy Stampin........Lyn

Here is my card this week. I hadn't used the bunnies from this set as in the past have used the cute elephant that comes as a single from verve. So happy I stamped this bunny up as she is super cute. I added the frame from one om my well used sets called On Occasion and stamped it on Velum and then embossed it for a soft effect. Thanks for dropping by.

Playing with my new Camera

I am finally having a play with my new camera...........Not a big flash one but much better than what I had. Would love some feedback as still in the early stages of playing. This is an Olympus and was on special at 385.00 I think it will do what I am lookin for as a techno phobic and need simple in my life hehehehehehehe. Thanks for calling in I appreciate it.
