Melissa's Fab Friday Feature

 

Oh how I love Melissa's cards and this one is no exception. 

I have a huge stack of Christmas designer papers and I have decided to try and use a few up this year so I have made my card with some designer paper using the Season of Joy stamps set and dies. Thanks for dropping by today!

Color Hues Navy and Turquoise

 

Love these two colors together and had lots of fun deciding on a card to make. Eventually deciding to use a stamp set from Concord and 9th that I adored but had not yet used :) . Off not to take a look at some of the amazing cards that have been made for the 2nd challenge for Color Hues, wondering now what the next color mix is going to be :)

Pinkfresh Studios September Challenge

 

I recently purchased the gorgeous Essential Jewels mix and was delighted to think I could incorporate them into a card for this moths challenge which is about all things rainbow :)

Melissa's Fab Friday Feature

 I so look forward to Melissa's beautiful creations, and I so enjoy getting my Ink to Paper and Papertrey Ink goodies out and creating cards :).

The theme is thankful and I ended up with something totally opposite of the Fall kind theme I first intended :) My cards is for a friend and here in New Zealand we are heading into Spring. My plum tree is covered in buds. I thank you for visiting and hope you are playing along as well.

Color Hues

I could not resist this new Challenge of Color Hues as I recently purchased a stamp set called  Retro Plantines and this was the perfect reason to ink it up!. I loved the designer teams cards and cannot wait to see the creations that will be linked. Thanks for dropping by!

Melissa's Fab Friday Feature

 

I so adore Melissa'a work and I am always amazed at the attention to detail. This challenge was about 'wishing you' so I got to looking through my sentiments and found a great staple Just a Note which included the sentiment Wishing you a wonderful day.

I used the die set from Bloomers to create my flowers and the leaves come from the set Lovely leaves. It was lovely to sit down and create, I don't get to do it as often now and love and treasure my Papertrey Ink/ Ink to Paper goodies

Pinkfresh Studio June Challenge

This months challenge had a colour mix that was a challenge for me as I wanted to incorporate all those lovely colours into my card. I had just received the Pinkfresh essential jewels which was an even better excuse to get crafting. Here is the inspiration for this months challenge

I love the sketch for this week and had some new to me items sitting on my desk from Altenew to play with. So here is the sketch

Color Throwdown #587

Beautiful colous for this weeks challenge and what I enjoyed is mixing up my stamps and dies from different companies! Here is the color pallet

I used Lovely Lady a gorgeous pink by Papertrey Ink and toned it down with some Vellum. My brown is represented by the Kraft card stock and the Grey and Green of course are the leaves and Oval panel. I love these leaves by Ink to Paper and the You die is from Pink Studio. Thanks for dropping by today, where ever you are I hope you are well.

New dies from Pinkfresh Studio

I just could not resist one more purchase from Pinkfresh Studio. Living in New Zealand it feels like a race to get a few sets here before there isn't international postage..........Not sure it will happen but I cannot image having to just watch from the sidelines :) luckily we have a wonderful retailer here who bought in some of the new inks and goodies from the last release so fingers crossed we see some of the upcoming one.
I have made this card for a friends 55th birthday and will put the happy birthday on the inside of the card as had to use my new beautiful die as the font is just superb. Hope those that are staying home enjoy some crafting time. I think I shall probably end up working some pretty long hours as I am a registered Nurse in a two wing unit for Mental Health and Psychogeriatrics. Our clients thrive best on familiarity so Praying we can keep the units running as close to the norm as we can. Our team is awesome and I Pray we can keep our Clients well and safe during this time and each other to.

PinkFresh Studio Monthly Challenge

I just yesterday received my very first order from Pink Fresh Studio and I am so delighted to be able to play along in this months challenge. I used a wonderful sentiment from the set 'No One Compares To You' and as the Challenge is about 'Framing It' I used the set 'Fancy Blooms' to create my frame.

I had such fun and cannot wait for a chance to play more with my goodies!
