Seems a little funny making a Christmas card after the event but guess this is first in my pile for next year :) Here is the inspiration picture for this month

Viva La Verve Week 4 Sketch

Week 4 completed..............Enjoy the Verve challenges the beautiful stamps are such fun to ponder over and with this card all I used was a small birthday sentiment but it is still so lovely. The fonts on the Poppy Set are stunning and I know I will use them time and time again.

I stamped my sentiment in the Circle and then realised it was in the banner.......My version of the banner is the hearts so hope it is all good to do so. Enjoyed making this card and have been itching to stamp this beautiful sentiment :)

Viva la Verve Dec Challenge

Due to lots of busy ness I have been really slack with the challenges and this week think I am finally back on track. So here is the Dec challenge I have one card made and three to go.

And here is my card I thought I would leave the soap in the pic as I had a great crafting evening last night and not only got my card made but also threw together a batch of soap fragranced with Pineapple crush. I cut into it this morning and Oh boy it is soooooooo good.

Taylored Expressions Kit of the Month

Last month I decided to join the Taylored Stamp of the month kit and I adore what has come to me so far. I backordered a kit so have three here to play with :). Everything is so beautifully coordinated and I love the paper from this month so much I ordered another two pads of it :).
Here is my card using the Dec kit..................Loving everything about these kits and now cannot wait for the 1st of next month to see what is heading my way!!!!!!

MFT Card Sketch 154

My first card for an MFT challenge and I really enjoyed making this. My alphabet die set arrived just a few hours ago along with some great goodies from the December release :)

Viva La Verve Nov Week2

Started my Christmas cards to send out and decided to base the week two sketch on a Chrissie card. Loving this DP from Kaisercraft, was last years that I picked up in a bargain bin for $5.00 wish I had got two of them now :) Here is the awesome sketch and I love it so much I am going to base a few more of my Christmas cards on this sketch.

I love to send Just because kind of cards so set out to make this to send off for a friend I haven't seen in a while. Love this primrose stamp from Smooches it is so easy to colour. I have water coloured this with Stampin up inks. Here is the challenge design

Just started working on the cards I want to send out this year so thought I would share the one I made form the gorgeous Verve Holiday Greetings Set. DP is stampin up and the ribbon is from spotlight here in Australia. They have some awesome Christmas ribbons this year.

Going to be fun this year sending out my very own handmade cards for the first time :)

My First Paper Smooches Stamps Arrived

My first order of Paper Smooches stamps arrived yesterday and I was so delighted. This order included the stamps I purchased with my $30.00 Voucher so generously given for winning one of their challenges. My daughter who is eight just delighted in the stamps and thinks they are the coolest stamps that she could imagine.
So with my new stamps I was very keen to use them and made a card for the challenge this week. Here is the challenge photo............the challenge is called Picture Perfect

This months challenge was exactly that for me :) I immediately saw Halloween paper and stamps in need but being relatively new to card making my stash of goodies is limited and not a Halloween stamp or paper in sight. So I ended up being inspired by the colours. Here is the inspiration photo for this month :)

Card stock is American Craft and Stampin up Bermuda bay coloured card Stamps are Verve and ribbon is from my local craft store

My first attempt at a more Vintage type look

I really enjoyed making this card...............it was a challenge as when I first started out I had a vision of it being full of florals and scrolls and bling but I kept changing it around (I am not great with the flower arranging :) )eventually I decided a little less. The only thing I wish is that the stitching on the card was a little more standout but otherwise happy with it.

Before showing you my new card for the next challenge at Paper Smooches I have some awesome news :). I won the September challenge and I am still smiling from ear to ear two days later :). Paper Smooches

I have just discovered another stamp company that I think I will not be able to live (stamp) without :). Paper smooches have the most gorgeous stamps so whimsical and fun and the fonts are amazing. I will order in a few weeks but will then have to wait for them to reach me in Australia which is about another three weeks so thought I would download one of the free digi stamps they have made available and play with it. Thanks Paper Smooches your stamps rock!!!!!!
